Small gift from Japan to France
ぎ*there is “poor” English version below.
・Tokyo Cheese Factory
Finally the tiny present from Japan was arrived in France! The one which I sent from post office of KIX(Kansai international Airport). As I searched on the internet, EMS to France often have a problem but hopefully mine was delivered smoothly.
Here is my present list to France
(I know many foreigner / Japanese always thinking about what to send from Japan to foreign country)
-Cookies from Tokyo Cheesecake Factory(2 flavor/which is famous cookie store in Tokyo : because this time I went to Tokyo as a business trip)
-The book about Japanese culture in English
-Tweezers from Daiso(100 yen store. This was Max’s request. He found it was good quality by using mine)
-Post it with strange Japanese characters(no meaning, just I found it at store)
-Tenugui (Japanese washcloth made by Japanese traditional hand dyeing method.)
- Two kinds of flavored green tea from Lupicia (one with grapefruit, one is Kotobuki with some flowers)
-one post card of Tokyo tower and cherry blossom made by block printing for his parents and letter for Max
I know the cheese flavored cookies doesn't sound like “Japanese” but after I live in Shanghai, I found that how much Japanese sweets are sensitive and delicious is!
A good news is they like this cookies so much!
Maybe nextime, if I have enough time to shopping, I will send 茶の菓/Chanoka from Kyoto Malebranche. (please check it if you live close to Kyoto or also possible to order by website) this is one of perfect Japanese cookies! Unfortunately, I didn’t have enough time this time.
His family often bake pastries so maybe eating with tea is good? But I don't know they have afternoon tea culture in France or not.
Anyway, I always love to think about present and walking around the city to find one. And really happy that they enjoy it!
