Birthday Dinner at Sale & Pepe

昨日の夜はMaxの誕生日ディナーに行ってきたよー：）

お店はSale & Pepeというイタリアンレストラン。何度か行ったことがあって、味も美味しかったから予約しました〜。

６時半に仕事を終えて大きな箱を持って待ち合わせ場所へ・・・

なぜなら出会ってからずっと一緒にいるからプレゼントを家に持って帰れなくってずっとオフィスにおいてたの。

そしたら自転車に乗って颯爽とMax登場。珍しく襟付きのシャツ着てた<3

（私は無地のTシャツにジーンズ、そして化粧落ちかけの仕事帰りだけど笑）

さすがにすぐに箱に気づいてそれ何？って笑

秘密—！なんて最初言ってたけどすぐにバレるよね。

でもMaxは嬉しい反面ちょっと申し訳なさそうにしてた。なぜかというと私の誕生日（１ヶ月前）はシンプルな感じでのお祝いだったから。というのも出会って3日目かなんかだったから。

そんなこと気にしなくっていいのに、どこまで真面目て優しいんだか。

そんなわけで、レストランに言って二人で美味しいイタリアンを満喫しました。

けど失敗したのが二人でスターターとリゾット各１頼んだらお腹いっぱいでデザートが入らない！！笑

誕生日なのにケーキなし。ウケるけど私たちっぽいと思う。

そしてお家へ帰ってプレゼントタイム。中国でのプレゼント探しって大変。本当は服とか、何かこう、もっとロマンチックなものをあげたかったんだけど、何しろずっと一緒にいるし、買いに行ったらバレるし・・・。おしゃれなもの見つけるの難しい！

ってことで私が選んだのはコレ。

学生さんの彼、長時間座ることが多いし、動くたびにohhhh!って言って腰押さえてるのに人に触られるの嫌いだからって言ってマッサージを拒むので、機械の力を借りました。笑

これでもっと集中してお勉強できると思います。

彼はすっごく喜んでくれて、早速シャワーの後試してました。よかったよかった。

今日から私は日本へ出張。土曜日からMaxはフランスに帰るので約１か月離れ離れ。出会ってから本当に毎日ずっと一緒だからすっごく寂しいけど、彼はフランスで久しぶりに家族と素敵な時間を過ごせると思うので、この１か月私は勉強とか料理とか色々頑張ろうと思います。

After I finished work yesterday, we went to sale & pepe to have a birthday dinner<3 Sale & Pepe is one of my favorite Italian restaurant in Shanghai and I’ve been there for few times. It’s not super fancy but a good restaurant.

When I was waiting for him, I had a box next to me. Because Max and me were always together since we met, so I couldn't put any present in our flat otherwise he will find it. So I kept it at my office for a while.

After a while Max was appeared in light blue shirt, he’s so cute to choose shirt for birthday dinner! Usually he wears T-shirt these days. (contrary I was wearing normal navy T-shirts and Jeans without fixing makeup after work…. Oops….what a lazy Japanese. lol)

He shortly noticed about the box and I told him it’s a present for him :)<3

He looked very happy but a bit uncomfortable also, because we celebrated my birthday with simple way last month but it’s because it was only 3,4 days after we met so it was totally fine for me tho. I really enjoyed my birthday with him and my present was the opportunity to know him and meet him in shanghai. He’s a really kind and gentle guy.

Anyway, we went to the restaurant and did enjoy food there a lot without any dessert. ;p We ordered starter to share and one risotto for each person but it was too much for us!! (It often happens to us, and it’s our way and style, we never learn from experience about it) we do need to go back to that restaurant to try their dessert. It’s amazing for sure.

After dinner, we went back to home and he opened the present . Well… it’s really difficult to find the well-designed present in Shanghai, additionally I was always with him so no time to go shopping.

I choose the massage pillow “designed in Japan” (and made in China) for his backache. He often say “ohhhhhh” when he move his body and rub his back. Because he is a “super nice” student and study a lot on the chair. I guess his body is much older than me even he is 4 years younger than me. I think he can study more with it :>>> 加油! ( Chinese word pronounces ”Jiayou” means cheer up)He seems he really enjoyed it when he tried and it’s good for the guy who doesn't like to let people to give him massage. ( even me!!!)

Unfortunately, I’m going back to Japan as a business trip from today to Sunday, and he will leave Shanghai on Saturday for one month. So it’s our first time to have a long distance since we met. But I do hope he will have a great holiday there with his family, enjoy food, play with his dog and so on.

Maybe on my side, I will tide up our flat a bit, work hard!!(need to prepare for two big exhibitions) , study Chinese and French and some healthy cooking ( instead of fudgy brownie :/). I will miss him a lot and will feel and know how he is important for me for sure. It would be a good time for us.
